Training camp began on June 15 with 28 of the nation's top players age 17 and under competing for 12 roster spots. The final 12 were announced Tuesday, June 19 after seven practices. The USA team will practice two more days at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado before taking off to defend the USA's U17 FIBA World Championship title. Kaunas, Lithuania is the host for the World Championship.
